Sena SC2 to Cardo SC Edge upgrade

Posted by Rick Flashman on Jun 5th 2025

I was a long-time Cardo user and only switched to Sena when I got my C5 helmet and had to get the SC2 communicator. After almost five years the battery of the SC2 was loosing capacity, meaning it could not last an entire 8 hour riding day. I also found it frustrating how Sena's communicator lost battery power even while turned off. So I was thrilled to discover that there was now a Cardo SC communicator upgrade option. I ordered it right away. It's fantastic, simple install, and I am back in the longer-range, clearer-at-high-speeds, and more-friends-use-it world of Cardo. Also, the Cardo remote seems to link in easier and faster than the Sena remote; and the controls are easier. Highly recommended as a worthwhile upgrade for SC2 communicator users.
